This Privacy Policy explains what information Investaar collects, how we use it, and the third parties that help us run the Service.

Information we collect

  • Account information — your name and email address, collected through our authentication provider when you sign up.
  • Property and deal inputs — the addresses, prices, rents, and assumptions you enter to run analyses.
  • Usage data — basic activity needed to operate and secure the Service (for example, features used and rate-limit counters).
  • Payment information — handled by our payment processor. We do not store your full card number; the processor manages payment details.

How we use your information

  • to provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
  • to process subscriptions and billing;
  • to respond to support requests;
  • to protect the Service against abuse and secure your account.

We do not sell your personal information.

Service providers

We share information with trusted providers only as needed to run the Service:

  • Clerk — authentication and subscription management.
  • Stripe — payment processing.
  • Convex — application database and backend.
  • Vercel — website hosting.
  • Anthropic — powers AI features; deal text you submit for an AI summary or question is processed to generate a response.
  • Property & market data providers (e.g. RentCast, FRED, U.S. Census) — queried by address to return property and market estimates.

Cookies

We use essential cookies required for sign-in and sessions. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Data retention and your choices

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing support@getinvestaar.com. Deleting your account removes your associated data, subject to records we must keep for legal or billing purposes.

Children

The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
